Extraction: Seagate uses a freshwater, mechanical concentration process without the use of any chemical, solvent, or high temperature. There are over 8 phytochemicals besides oleuropein that are found in olive leaves, and also in olive oil, and in the bark and roots of the olive tree. Seagate Olive Leaf Extract does not alter the delicate structure and balance of these important natural phytochemicals which have allowed this plant to survive in nature unchanged in over 10,000 years.
Purity: Each batch of extract is tested by independent laboratories. There is no filler or excipient in this or any Seagate product.
Oleuropein controversy: Most “manufacturers” of olive leaf extract do not actually process their own products, but are just resellers that purchase from other suppliers, and probably have never seen an olive tree growing in nature. In order to distinguish their product’s potency and quality from their competitors, most of these companies specify their oleuropein standardized to some level on their labels. However, the separation and concentration of oleuropein has no effect on increasing the potency of Olive Leaf Extract, and can actually cause the product to become inactive.
Dietary support may be needed to protect you against resistant strains of microorganisms. Seagate Olive Leaf Extract contains natural phytochemicals, including oleuropein, to help support good health.
