In Chinese Herbalism, Jing is the primal energy of life. We are given a certain amount of Jing by our parents at birth, the prenatal Jing. We deplete our Jing through our living. When we run low on Jing we show the signs of aging, and when we run out of Jing we die. Most plant-based Jing
